Triangles are Cool

I am writing this post in honor of my good friend, the triangle. Many people often dismiss the triangle as a waste of a shape, and instead prefer dodecahedrons, cubes, spheres, and the occasional octagon. What good could a shape with only three sides possibly be?

TRIANGLES FIT TOGETHER
Unlike lesser shapes such as circles and octagons, equilateral triangles can always be neatly put together with no space or wiggle room between them. This is quite a useful feature that can come in handy in all sorts of work, including tiles, pyramids, and maybe even some odd sort of dice.

TRIANGLES ARE VERSATILE
All larger straight-edged shapes can be made out of triangles. The same can't be said of any shape with four or more sides, only the triangle. Take the octagon, for example, you could easily make it out of triangles by slicing it like a pizza, but you couldn't slice it into squares.

TRIANGLES ARE DEADLY
Every triangle has at least two acute angles which can be used to stab people. Furthermore, people have been known to die in the Bermuda Triangle. As if that's not enough, the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series of video games has what is known as the triforce engraved on it, a set of three triangles neatly put together to form a bigger triangle. Only this sword can be used to defeat the evil Ganondorf.

RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE
Many denominations of Christianity believe in what is called the trinity, the concept that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are all three seperate yet the same being (it's complicated, and I don't feel like explaining it). This concept, though easily demonstrated by a triangle, would be not so well demonstrated by a pentagon or a hexagon.

So basically, triangles are the coolest shape in the world, and can do all sorts of things that other shapes can't do. Hooray for triangles!
