How to Piss People Off - Part 2: stumblecards

First, a dude comes up with a stupid idea, referring to it as "the latest sensation sweeping the web" before anybody has seen it, before it has even begun to "sweep the web". He then proceeds to clog up StumbleUpon with these cards. I click "Stumble!" on my StumbleUpon toolbar, hoping for a news article on a subject I'm interested in, or a cool flash game, or something to keep my attention. Instead, I am brought to this. I have no interest in it, but they're mistagged so that even if I thumb it down I'll still be taken to others when I next stumble.

To make it worse, it seems that a ton of copycats have already emerged in the relatively short time since it began. A quick Google Search for "stumblecard" shows 4780 results. It has already spread like mad, to the corners of the internet, and it looks like it won't die any time soon.

Looking at StumbleUpon reviews of various stumblecards, it seems that quite a few people share my opinion. I'm not really sure of the best way to deal with this, but if you, my loyal and intelligent readers who are sick of this junk, have any ideas then I won't stop you from trying. I will not give my endorsement to a DDoS attack, because that is the kind of bull that anybody above the age of 12 should be mature enough not to do, but if you can crush this guy with an iron fist of negative reviews you'd be making the world a better place.
